Chelsea and Arsenal are both in the race to sign Sofiane Boufal from Lille but face competition from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, according to reports.
Antonio Conte is on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as he bids to strengthen his squad ahead of his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, has already signalled his intention to bring in a new forward this summer by tabling a bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
Now, The Guardian is reporting that both Premier League clubs are interested in signing Morocco forward Boufal from Lille this summer but face competition from the two La Liga sides.
The same report also says that Lille are prepared to let the forward leave the French club this summer for a fee of around £19.6m.
The 22-year-old netted 11 times in his first full season in Ligue 1 and won the award for Best African Player the French top flight.
