Arsenal and Chelsea will battle for the signature of Alvaro Morata this summer, according to reports

Chelsea and Arsenal are set to go head-to-head in the race to sign Alvaro Morata from Juventus this summer, according to reports.

The Spain striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus this summer, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all having been credited with an interest in bringing him to England.

Arsenal are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and have already tabled a bid to try and bring Jamie Vardy to The Emirates from Leicester City.

Antonio Conte is also thought to be keen to strengthen his attacking options as he prepares for his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Now, The Sun is reporting that the battle for Morata’s signature this summer could come down to a straight shootout between the two London clubs.
