The Blues have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Antonio Conte prepares for his first season in charge of the west London side.

However, despite all of the speculation, the Blues are yet to officially announce the signing of any new players.

Lukaku’s future at Everton has been a source of uncertainty of recent weeks amid reports that he wants to quit Goodison Park to move to a club in the Champions League.

Now, the bookmakers have made Chelsea the clear 12/5 favourites to re-sign Lukaku this summer, ahead of London rivals Arsenal, who are currently priced at 11/4.

“Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park, and having netted twice so far at the Euros, the Belgian striker looks set for a big money move this summer,” said Ian Marmion, trading director at BetStars.

“After heavy backing in the last 48 hours we’ve seen Chelsea emerge as the front-runners to re-sign the forward – they’re currently 12/5, with London rivals Arsenal at 11/4.”

Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as Conte prepares for his first taste of Premier League management next season.
