Chelsea, Man United told to pay £47.5m for Italy star – report
Chelsea and Man United target Leonardo Bonucci is valued at £47.5m by Juventus, according to reports in Italy
Chelsea and Manchester United will need to cough up £47.5m if either of the Premier League duo want to sign Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The 29-year-old centre-half has been a key part of Juventus’s dominance of Serie A over the past four years, winning four successive Italian top-flight titles under Antonio Conte and then Massimiliano Allegri.
Bonucci was widely praised for his performance in Italy’s surprise 2-0 victory over one of the Euro 2016 pre-tournament favourites Belgium in their opening game of the tournament on Monday night.
Chelsea and United have been linked with a move for the Italy international in recent days as Conte and Jose Mourinho look to address defensive problems in their current squads.
According to Italian transfer website Fichajes, Juve have slapped a £47.5m transfer fee on the centre-half’s head in an attempt to deter potential bids from Chelsea and United.
