Chelsea scouting £35m-rated Man City target – report

Chelsea sent scouts to watch Schalke winger Leroy Sane in action over the weekend, say reports

Chelsea have sent scouts to check on Schalke winger Leroy Sane as they ponder a summer transfer bid, according to reports.

Sane has long been linked with a transfer to the Premier League, with Manchester City thought to be the English club leading the race for his signature.

Chelsea are yet to make any signings this summer as they prepare for life under new coach Antonio Conte.

The Italian is set to take over at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2016, and the Daily Mail is now reporting that Chelsea appear to be interested in luring the £35m-rated Sane to the Premier League.

The newspaper claims that Chelsea are pondering a move for the Germany international as they look to revamp their squad ahead of Conte’s official arrival at the club.
