Chelsea star comments on Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Man United

Pedro Rodriguez is expecting Jose Mourinho to be an instant success at Manchester United

Pedro Rodriguez is expecting Jose Mourinho to be an instant success at Manchester United next season.

The Portuguese coach is gearing up for his first season in charge at Old Trafford after being appointed as the club’s new manager on a three-year contract last month.

Mourinho’s appointment comes less than a year after he was sacked by Chelsea following the west London club’s disastrous start to last season.

Winger Pedro worked under the Portuguese coach during his second spell back at Stamford Bridge.

And the Spain international is fully expecting Mourinho to have a positive impact at Old Trafford after being tasked with restoring United to the top of English football.

Former Barcelona star Pedro is quoted as saying by Metro: “One thing is certain and that’s he’ll bring a lot of intensity,’ he added on the Portuguese.

“It will be a very strong team and consistent in defence because has bags of character and very clear ideas.”
