Chelsea suffer setback as Belgian starlet seeks La Liga move
Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda is keen to return to Real Betis
Charly Musonda has hinted at his desire to return to Real Betis this summer despite the arrival of new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
The 19-year-old, who moved to Chelsea from Anderlecht, impressed during a season-long loan at La Liga side Betis in the 2015/16 campaign.
The Belgium Under-21 international, who is yet to make an appearance for the Blues, scored one goal in 14 La Liga appearances during his loan spell.
Conte is set to take over the reins at Stamford Bridge once Italy’s Euro 2016 campaign is complete after he was announced as their next permanent manager earlier this year.
And Musonda is keen to return to the La Liga outfit if his latest Instagram post is any indication of his intentions.
The teenager posted the above photo and wrote: “2016/2017 The show will be back coming soon…”
Chelsea finished in ninth place in the Premier League table last season.
Conte’s Italy have won both of their Euro 2016 games so far after victories over Belgium and Sweden.
