The Blues have been linked with a host of new players as the Italian coach prepares for his first season at the west London club.
Conte is thought to be keen to bolster his defensive options at Stamford Bridge and is said to be a keen admirer of Napoli defender Koulibaly.
Now, the Daily Mirror is reporting that Chelsea have made their move to sign the defender by making a £19.2m bid to bring him to west London.
However, the same report says that Napoli are determined to hold out for at least £30m for the Senegalese centre-half.
Koulibaly recently hinted that he would be open to securing a transfer to Chelsea this summer.
The Blues are yet to make any signings this summer despite being linked with a host of star names ahead of Conte’s first campaign at the club.
