Chelsea have had a £32m bid for Andre Gomes rejected by Valencia, according to reports.
The Blues have been linked with a host of players during the summer transfer window but are yet to officially confirm any new signings ahead of Antonio Conte’s arrival at the club.
Conte is currently on duty with Italy at Euro 2016 but is believed to have already drawn up a shortlist of his top transfer targets for the summer.
Now, Sky Sports News HQ is reporting that Chelsea have made Portugal international Andre Gomes one of their top transfer priorities this summer, but that Valencia have turned down their initial offer.
The same report says that Valencia consider central midfielder Gomes, who has also been linked with Manchester United, to be worth around £42m.
The story goes on to say that Chelsea are not prepared to increase their offer for the Portugal international, and are considering their next move.
