Daley Blind appears to be paying no attention to the speculation about his future at Manchester United
Daley Blind has taken to social media to insist that he is looking forward to next season, despite the speculation surrounding his future at Manchester United.
Reports in the British media over the weekend claimed that new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to sell both Blind and Juan Mata following the Portuguese coach’s appointment last week.
Blind has been a regular fixture in the United team since joining the club and scored one goal and made one assist in 35 Premier League games last season.
However, the Netherlands international appeared to be paying no attention to the speculation about his future on Tuesday morning, as he posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Unfortunately I have to finish this season with a small injury and miss the last couple of games, now it’s time to rest and recover for next season.”
Blind scored one goal in the FA Cup as he helped Louis van Gaal’s men win the trophy last season.
The Red Devils opted to sack Van Gaal just two days after he led United to FA Cup glory.
