Dwight Yorke: This man should be Man United boss, not Jose Mourinho

Dwight Yorke says Ryan Giggs should have got the Manchester United job ahead of Jose Mourinho...

Dwight Yorke has claimed that Manchester United should have appointed Ryan Giggs as the club’s new manager ahead of Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach was unveiled as the Red Devils’ new manager last week after days of speculation linking him with the Old Trafford role.

Mourinho signed a three-year contract with United and has already begun working on his summer recruitment drive at Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen whether Giggs will stay on at United in some capacity under Mourinho.

And former United striker Yorke feels that Giggs should have been given the job ahead of Mourinho.

Speaking exclusively to 888sport, former United striker Yorke said:

Mourinho had been out of work since December following his sacking by Chelsea after their disastrous start to last season.
