Emmanuel Frimpong wants Arsenal to consider a move to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer...

Emmanuel Frimpong has taken to social media to urge Arsene Wenger to consider a transfer swoop to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli this summer.

The north London side are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as Wenger looks to revamp his squad ahead of what could be his last season in charge at The Emirates.

Arsenal are thought to be closing in on the signing of Jamie Vardy from Leicester City and have already confirmed a deal to land Granit Xhaka.

However, former Arsenal man Frimpong says that he would love to see the north London side make a move to bring former Real Madrid striker Higuain to the north London club.
