Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for reinforcements as Arsene Wenger bids to transform the Gunners into title contenders next season.

The north London side have already signed Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach as Wenger looks to revamp his squad.

And it now appears that the Gunners are keen to prise Vardy away from Leicester after he scored 24 goals in the Premier League to help them win the title last season.

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan was quick to urge Vardy to join the north London side.

But Lineker was quick to respond on social media and urged the striker to stay at the King Power Stadium, tweeting:

Arsenal finished second behind Leicester last term.
