Gary Lineker reacts on Twitter to latest major Arsenal transfer rumour

Gary Lineker has his say about the transfer speculation linking Arsenal with moves for Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez

Gary Lineker has taken to social media to reveal his frustration at reports that Arsenal are planning a double transfer swoop to sign Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy this summer.

The north London side have been heavily linked with a bid to bring Vardy to Emirates Stadium in recent days and are believed to have triggered the £20m release clause in the forward’s contract.

Vardy appears in no rush to make a decision about his future, however, with the latest reports claiming that he is willing to wait until after Euro 2016 to clarify his situation.

Arsenal have also been linked with another bid to bring PFA player of the year Mahrez to Emirates Stadium in what would be a sensational double swoop for the north London club.

However, former England international and Leicester man Lineker was not too pleased by the reports on Tuesday.

He tweeted:

The former striker also added that he would love to see Vardy stay at the King Power Stadium.
