Jamie Carragher has his say on Marcus Rashford's display as England are knocked out of Euro 2016 by Iceland
Jamie Carragher reserved special praise for Marcus Rashford for his impressive cameo performance in what was an otherwise woeful England display after their 2-1 loss to Iceland at Euro 2016.

England had taken the lead through Wayne Rooney’s early penalty in the last 16 clash in Nice but Ragnar Sigurdsson bundled home from close range shortly after to draw level.
Iceland then took the lead in the 18th minute, when goalkeeper Joe Hart let Kolbeinn Sigthorsson’s shot through his hand.
It was an abject performance by the Three Lions and prompted Roy Hodgson to resign immediately after the game.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher was quick to take to social media to praise Rashford for being one of the few players to impress – despite the Manchester United teenager only coming on in the 86th minute.
He tweeted:

Rashford has enjoyed a remarkable rise to prominence since the turn of the year and many England fans will have wanted to see the youngster brought on earlier.
