Jamie Vardy considering Arsenal’s big-money transfer offer – report

Jamie Vardy has not yet decided whether he wants to join Arsenal this summer, say reports

Jamie Vardy will take his time before deciding whether a transfer to Arsenal is the right move for him, according to reports.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Emirates Stadium in recent days amid reports that Arsenal have activated the release clause in his Leicester City contract, which is believed to be around £20m.

Widespread reports in the British media over the weekend claimed that Vardy is on the verge of joining Arsene Wenger’s men.

However, the Leicester Mercury is now reporting that there is no decision imminent from the 29-year-old striker.

It had been thought that Arsenal were in a hurry to push through a deal as quickly as possible, with Vardy set to travel to France with the England squad ahead of Euro 2016.

However, the report says that Vardy has not yet decided on whether a move to Arsenal would be right for him.
