Jose Mourinho makes bold decision about Man United legend – report

Ryan Giggs is not likely to stay at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, according to reports

Ryan Giggs will not stay to work at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho – because the Portuguese coach is worried that he could become a rival for his job, according to reports.

It had been thought that Giggs could be set to be offered a coaching role under the newly-appointed Manchester United boss as he prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.

Giggs has been United’s assistant manager under Louis van Gaal for the last two seasons at Old Trafford.

However, The Times is now reporting that Mourinho is concerned that Giggs could end up becoming a rival for him at Old Trafford and therefore he will not be staying on at the club.

The same report says that Mourinho wants a loyal coaching staff behind him at United and feels that Giggs does not fit the bill.
