Jose Mourinho wants Inter Milan star to be his second Man United signing – report

Manchester United want to bring Joao Miranda to Old Trafford this summer, say reports

Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Inter Milan centre-back Joao Miranda to Old Trafford as he second signing at Manchester United, according to reports.

The Portuguese coach has already quickly set about strengthening his squad at United after the Red Devils completed a deal to bring defender Eric Bailly to the club from Villarreal last week.

United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of his first season in charge at Old Trafford.

Now, the Daily Star is reporting that Mourinho is still keen to further bolster his defensive options at the club with a move for Miranda.

The same report goes on to say that United would have to pay more than £17m to bring the Brazil international to the club this summer.
