Jose Mourinho wants to make Spain striker his second Man United signing – report

Manchester United remain keen on bringing striker Alvaro Morata to the club this summer, say reports

Jose Mourinho is keen for Manchester United to beat off interest from Arsenal to sign Alvaro Morata this summer, according to reports.

The Spain international’s future has been a source of relentless speculation in recent weeks as he continues to be linked with a move to England.

Arsenal and Chelsea are both said to be keen on luring the Juventus star to the Premier League as both London clubs look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.

However, the Daily Express is now reporting that Mourinho is keen to bring Morata to Old Trafford as the Portuguese coach prepares for his first season at the club.

The same report goes on to say that United have also made audacious transfer enquiries about the possibility of signing Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale since Mourinho’s appointment at Old Trafford last month.
