Jose Mourinho wants to make Valencia star his second Man United signing – report

Manchester United are ready to make a bid to bring Andre Gomes to Old Trafford from Valencia, say reports

Manchester United are ready to table a big-money bid to bring Andre Gomes to Old Trafford this summer, according to reports in Spain.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the club’s new manager last month.

Gomes has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent days, with Chelsea said to be interested in bringing the Portugal midfielder to Stamford Bridge.

However, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo is now reporting that Mourinho is keen to bring his compatriot to Old Trafford as he prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.

The same report says that the player himself is in no rush to make a decision about his future but that Mourinho is keen to push through a deal before the end of the summer transfer window.
