Juventus provide Man United transfer update on £125m France midfielder
Juventus haven't received any offer for Paul Pogba this summer despite Man United interest, says chief
Juventus have not received any bids for France midfielder Paul Pogba despite reported interest from Manchester United, according to Beppe Marotta.
The Red Devils have already signed Eric Bailly in a £30m deal from Villarreal earlier this summer as Jose Mourinho bolstered his defensive options at Old Trafford.
However, the new United manager is thought to have made signing the Juventus midfielder a top priority this summer despite the Frenchman being valued at around £125m.
The Red Devils are thought to have tough competition for the 23-year-old playmaker amid reported interest from La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, while Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are another potential destination for the ex-United star.
However, Juventus sporting director Marotta has revealed that the Italian champions haven’t received any offer for Pogba despite all the transfer speculation.
“As for Pogba, we have not received any offers,” Marotta is quoted as saying.
“He is a fundamental and indispensable player for the present and future of Juventus.”
Pogba has scored eight goals and has made 12 assists in 34 Serie A appearances for the Serie A holders in the 2015/16 season.
