Latest on Jamie Vardy’s proposed transfer to Arsenal – report
Jamie Vardy is reported to be leaning towards snubbing Arsenal to stay at Leicester this summer
Jamie Vardy has reportedly told his England team-mates that he is 80 per cent likely to turn down a transfer to Arsenal this summer.
The Leicester City star has been heavily linked with a move to the north London club in recent days after he was reportedly the subject of a £20m bid from the Gunners over the weekend.
Arsenal are said to have offered Vardy a lucrative four-year contract to move to Emirates Stadium.
However, the 29-year-old England striker appears to be in no rush to make a decision about his future as he continues his preparations for Euro 2016 in France.
Now, the London Evening Standard is reporting that Vardy is leaning towards turning down the moved to Arsenal in favour of staying at Premier League champions Leicester City this summer.
The same report says that Vardy remains focused on his work with England as he and the rest of the Three Lions squad prepare for Euro 2016 in France.
