Liverpool handed huge boost in Robert Lewandowski chase – report

Could Robert Lewandowski be heading to Liverpool this summer?

Liverpool could be among the Premier League clubs set to tempt Robert Lewandowski to England this summer, according to reports.

The Poland striker is thought to be keen to leave Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window and has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks.

Jurgen Klopp is believed to be on the lookout for a number of attacking reinforcements as he prepares for his first full season in charge at Anfield.

Now, The Sun is reporting that the striker is open to a move to the Premier League this summer, because he realises that one of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema must leave Real Madrid for a transfer to Spain to happen.

Liverpool are thought to be among the favourites to sign the forward, along with Manchester City.
