Liverpool in talks to complete £30m summer signing – report

Liverpool are in talks with Southampton about the possibility of signing Sadio Mane, say reports

Liverpool have opened talks with Southampton about the possibility of signing striker Sadio Mane in a £30m deal this summer, according to reports.

The Reds have been heavily linked with a number of players in recent weeks as Jurgen Klopp prepares for his first full season in charge at Anfield.

Now, Sky Sports News HQ is reporting that talks between Liverpool and Southampton over Mane are ongoing.

The same report says that there has been no fee agreed between the two clubs for the transfer of the 24-year-old forward, but Liverpool are hopeful of luring him to Anfield in a deal worth around £30m.

The story goes on to say that Mane is viewed by Reds boss Klopp as the perfect striker to add further strength to Liverpool’s attack next season.
