Liverpool have joined the race to sign N'Golo Kante from Leicester City, according to reports

Liverpool have joined the race to sign N’Golo Kante from Leicester City this summer, according to reports.

The France international earned plenty of new admirers for his consistent performances for Leicester last season in midfield as he helped them win the Premier League title.

Kante has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all said to be interested in signing him this summer.

Now, the Daily Star is reporting that Liverpool are also interested in bringing the holding midfielder to Anfield this summer.

The same report goes on to say that Kante is likely to cost in the region of £22m and that Liverpool would be willing to pay that much to secure his services for next season.
