Liverpool could be set to make a move to bring Edinson Cavani to Anfield this summer, say reports

Liverpool are interested in bringing Edinson Cavani to the Premier League this summer, according to reports.

The Reds have been linked with a host of new players in recent weeks as Jurgen Klopp prepares for his first full season in charge of the Merseyside outfit.

Klopp is understood to be keen to bolster his attacking options at Anfield as he bids to revamp his squad ahead of next season.

Now, Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that Liverpool are interested in bringing Paris Saint-Germain striker Cavani to the Premier League this summer.

Cavani has scored 81 goals in 148 games for the Ligue 1 club and has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.

The report goes on to say that Cavani’s representatives are keen to push through a transfer to the English top flight and that Liverpool could end up being his destination.
