Liverpool to finally announce £30m summer signing this week – report

Liverpool are close to announcing the signing of Sadio Mane from Southampton, according to reports

Liverpool are on the verge of completing the signing of Sadio Mane from Southampton this week, according to reports.

The Reds have been heavily linked with a big-money move for the striker as Jurgen Klopp prepares for his first full season in charge at Anfield.

Liverpool are thought to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

Now, the Daily Telegraph is reporting that Liverpool have agreed a £30m fee with Southampton for the transfer of the player.

The same report goes on to say that Liverpool are hoping to make an announcement of the signing early this week as Klopp pushes ahead with plans to revamp his squad ahead of next season.

The story goes on to say that Liverpool finalised negotiations for the transfer of Mane over the weekend.
