Is this a clear indication that Ander Herrera has a future under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United?

Ander Herrera’s future at Manchester United beyond the summer appears to be up in the air since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager.

However, the Spaniard can surely take some reassurance from a message to him posted by the club’s official Instagram account on Sunday.

There have been suggestions that Herrera could be set to be one of the players offloaded by Mourinho following his arrival at Old Trafford last month.

However, United used their Instagram account to wish Herrera a happy “anniversary” marking two years since he joined the Red Devils from Athletic Bilbao.

The Red Devils posted the picture above on the app and wrote: “Happy anniversary, @AnderHerrera! He joined us on this day in 2014. #mufc”

United have been linked with a host of players in the summer transfer window since Mourinho’s appointment but have thus far only signed 22-year-old defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
