Manchester United are on the verge of concluding a deal to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford, say reports

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of the striker’s proposed transfer to Old Trafford, according to reports.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Sweden international forward after he left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.

Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the veteran striker after having coached him at Inter Milan.

Now, the Guardian in reporting that United have now agreed a deal with Ibrahimovic for the striker to become Mourinho’s first signing at the club as he bids to revamp his squad ahead of his first season in charge.

The same report goes on to say that the striker is now due to hold talks with Mourinho about the proposed move to Old Trafford.

Should Ibrahimovic end up at United, he will have to make do without Champions League football next season after the Red Devils finished fifth in the Premier League.
