Man United and Chelsea handed boost in pursuit of striker
Romelu Lukaku has handed Chelsea and Manchester United a boost by admitting that he wants to join a club with a 'great project'
Manchester United and Chelsea have been handed a boost in their reported pursuit of Romelu Lukaku after the Everton striker revealed that he is keen to join a club with a “great project” this summer.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are thought to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as they look to bounce back from disappointing campaigns last season.
Lukaku’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks as he continues to be linked with a move away from Everton.
Now, the striker’s latest comments about his future are likely to give both United and Chelsea encouragement in their hopes of signing the Belgium international this summer.
Speaking in an interview with GQ magazine, Lukaku said: “I’ll go to a club that will give me the chance to be part of a great project.
“I’m only 23, I still have to improve.
“But I want to win titles, because that’s what we remember at the end of a career.”
