Man United blow as AC Milan launch bid to sign superstar – report
AC Milan could rival Manchester United for the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports in Italy
AC Milan have entered the race to sign Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports in Italy.
The Sweden international has yet to reveal where he will be playing next season after the 34-year-old played his final game for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain last month.
Ibrahimovic called time on his long and distinguished Sweden career on Tuesday after a 1-0 defeat by Belgium saw the national team exit the European championship.
The towering centre-forward won four successive Ligue 1 titles after he moved to the French capital following a two-year stay at AC Milan between 2010 and 2012.
According to Sportmediaset as quoted by Football Italia, if Milan complete a Chinese takeover then the Serie A giants could enter the race to sign the veteran Swedish striker and rival current favourites Manchester United.
