Man United blow as Real Madrid make move for £125m France star – report

Real Madrid have made a move for Man United target Paul Pogba, according to reports

Manchester United have been dealt a blow after Real Madrid opened negotiations with Juventus over a potential move for Paul Pogba, according to reports.

The France international is one of the most-coveted players in Europe after an outstanding four-year spell at the Serie A champions since swapping United for Juventus in 2012.

However, new Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is thought to have made Pogba is top transfer target this summer after having replaced Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford last month.

United have been linked with a world-record £125m bid for the French midfielder as Mourinho looks to add some top-class talent to the Red Devils squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Madrid have started negotiations with Juventus over a huge deal to sign the French midfielder.

The 23-year-old scored eight goals and made 12 assists in 35 Serie A appearances for the Italian champions last season.
