Man United close in on blockbuster double transfer deal – report
Manchester United are close to securing the signings of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, say reports
Manchester United are close to wrapping up the signings of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Jose Mourinho looks to prepare his side for next season.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks but have thus far only signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
United are thought to be keen to bolster their attacking options and have been heavily linked with a move to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is a free agent after being released by Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
The Red Devils have also been strongly linked with a move to sign Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund as Mourinho looks to add an attacking playmaker to his squad.
Now, The Guardian is reporting that United are close to wrapping up a £30m deal to sign Mkhitaryan and also bring Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford on a free transfer.
The same report says that Mkhitaryan would be offered a four or five-year contract and that United are hopeful of concluding a deal in the next week.
