Manchester United are edging closer towards completing the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
United are said to be keen on luring Mkhitaryan to the Premier League this summer and Dortmund accept that they may have to sell the playmaker as he enters into the final year of his contract.
Mourinho has already moved quickly to bolster his defensive options with the signing of Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
Now, Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli is reporting that United are “very close” to completing a deal to bring Mkhitaryan to the club this summer.
