Man United could pay £157m to sign Barcelona superstar – report
Manchester United could be one of the clubs prepared to break the bank to sign Neymar this summer, say reports
Manchester United could be among three clubs willing to pay Neymar’s £157m release clause to sign the Brazil international from Barcelona this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new attacking players this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at the club.
Mourinho has already set about revamping his United squad this summer by securing the signing of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal last week.
Neymar has been linked with a move away from Barcelona in recent weeks – and The Sun is now reporting that United, along with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, could be willing to break the bank to bring him to the Premier League.
The same report quotes Neymar’s agent as saying that three clubs are showing an interest in signing the star attacker this summer.
