Man United in talks to make Dortmund star Jose Mourinho’s second signing – report
Manchester United want to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, say reports
Manchester United still harbour hopes of signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
Mkhitaryan has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent days and United are thought to be keen on luring him to the club.
The player’s agent Mino Raiola has insisted that his client is keen on a move to United but that Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep hold of the player.
Now, the Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils remain firmly in the running to sign Mkhitaryan this summer in a deal that could make him Mourinho’s second recruit.
The Armenian forward’s current deal at Dortmund runs out next summer and the German club know that they risk losing the player on a free transfer next year.
