Man United line up £100m bid to land their second signing – report

Manchester United are prepared to smash the world transfer record to sign Paul Pogba this summer, say reports

Manchester United are preparing to shatter the world transfer record by tabling a £100m bid to sign Paul Pogba this summer, according to reports.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at the club.

Despite all of the speculation, however, United have thus far only signed 22-year-old defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal this summer.

Pogba has been regularly linked with a move back to Old Trafford from Juventus after the Red Devils sold him to the Serie A side for just £800,000 four years ago.

Now, the Daily Express is reporting that United are preparing an eye-watering £100m bid to lure him to Old Trafford.
