Man United line up £22m bid to sign Premier League star – report

Manchester United are lining up a transfer bid to sign N'Golo Kante from Leicester, say reports

Manchester United are planning to trigger the release clause in N’Golo Kante’s Leicester City contract with a £22m bid, according to reports.

The Red Devils began their summer recruitment drive last week as they confirmed the signing of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

United also moved quickly to tie veteran midfielder Michael Carrick down to a new one-year contract on Thursday.

New manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings at Old Trafford as he gears up for his first season in charge at the club.

Now, the Daily Mirror is reporting that United have identified Leicester City star Kante as their next target and are planning a bid to bring him to Old Trafford.
