Manchester United have made a fresh £28m offer to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, say reports
Manchester United have tabled a new £28m bid to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils continue to be linked with a host of players as Jose Mourinho looks to revamp his squad ahead of his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
United have already moved quickly to secure the signing of Eric Bailly from Villarreal as Mourinho bolstered his defensive options.
Now, the Red Devils are being heavily linked with a move for Mkhitaryan, who has one year left on his contract at Dortmund.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that United have had a £19m rejected by Borussia Dortmund, and that the Premier League outfit have now raised their bid to £28m.
The same newspaper report goes on to say that the Red Devils are set to land Mkhitaryan and have moved quickly to table a follow-up bid after their initial offer was rejected.
