Man United may have to pay £87m to sign France star – report

Manchester United may have to shell out as much as £87m to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, say reports

Manchester United may have to shell out a British record transfer fee of £87m if they want to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of attacking players in recent days following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager last month.

Pogba has long been linked with a move back to Old Trafford after leaving the Premier League outfit to join Juventus back in the summer of 2012.

Now, the Daily Mirror is reporting that United would have to shell out a huge transfer fee if they want to bring Pogba back to the club this summer.

The same report goes on to say that the midfielder left United for just £800,000 four years ago.

However, the story says that United are prepared to pay the hefty fee, because Mourinho is keen to build his midfield around him at Old Trafford.
