Man United prepared to offer £13.3m-a-year for £157m Brazil superstar – report
Man United are ready to offer Barcelona forward Neymar a huge contract, according to reports in Spain
Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer £13.3m-a-year for £157m-rated Brazil striker Neymar, according to reports.
The Barcelona forward has been linked with a surprise move away from Camp Nou this summer as United join two other clubs in pursuit of the Brazil international this summer.
Jose Mourinho was appointed as United’s new manager last month after relentless speculation linking the Portuguese coach with Louis van Gaal’s position at Old Trafford.
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be ready to offer £14.5m a year, while Barcelona’s La Liga rivals Real Madrid are willing to table a £11.7m-a-year contract.
According to Spanish outlet ABC, the Red Devils would be willing to put together a £13.3m-a-year deal in an attempt to beat their European rivals to Neymar’s signature.
The 24-year-old Neymar – who is believed to earn around half the salary of Lionel Messi – is yet to sign a new contract at Barcelona.
