Man United to do battle with Arsenal for £15.5m Argentina striker – report
Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto
Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto, according to talkSPORT.
The Red Devils have been left frustrated in their pursuit of Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the 34-year-old still to announce where he will be playing his football in the 2016/17 season.
Vietto struggled to make an impact at Vicente Calderon in his first season at Atletico and the 22-year-old is being linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in the summer transfer window.
The Argentina youngster scored one goal 19 La Liga appearances for Diego Simeone’s side, although the South American only started 12 top-flight games for the runners-up.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal and United are monitoring Vietto’s situation at Atletico ahead of a potential move for the Argentinian forward in this summer’s transfer window.
