Man United to finally tie up second signing this week – report

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, say reports

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this week, according to reports.

The playmaker has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Premier League, with both United and Arsenal said to be keen on luring him to England.

The Red Devils are believed to be leading the chase for his signature as Jose Mourinho searches for his second signing as Manchester United boss.

Now, the Daily Express is reporting that United have agreed a £26.3m feel with Dortmund and hope to complete the signing of the Armenia international this week.

The signing would come as a significant boost to United fans, who so far have only seen their club sign defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal since Mourinho’s appointment as manager.

The same report says that Dortmund do not want to sell the player but with only one year left on his contract, do not have much choice.
