Manchester United have been told that they will need to cough up £30.8m to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of top names as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
Mourinho has already moved quickly to secure the services of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal as he bolstered his rearguard options.
United are thought to be keen to sign Mkhitaryan from Dortmund this summer and are prepared to beat off competition from the likes of Arsenal to land their man.
Now, Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that United will have to up their offer to sign the player to £30.8m this summer.
The same report says that United have already had a £19m bid for Mkhitaryan rejected by the Bundesliga outfit this summer, and that the German club are resigned to losing the player this year.
