Man United up their bid to £35m in search of Mourinho’s second signing – report

Manchester United have increased their bid to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, say reports

Manchester United have tabled a fresh £35m bid to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports in Germany.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.

United are thought to have already made at least one offer to sign the Dortmund attacking midfielder in recent days as Mourinho looks to further strengthen his squad.

Now, Kicker is reporting that United have returned with an improved offer of £35m to try and lure the playmaker to Old Trafford this summer.

Dortmund are thought to be keen to keep hold of the player but may be forced into selling as the attacking midfielder enters into the final year of his contract with the German club.
