Manchester United have joined the race to sign Zenit Sanit Petersburg defender Ezequiel Garay this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
Mourinho has already moved quickly to strengthen his defensive options at Old Trafford with the signing of Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
The Portuguese coach also moved quickly to tie midfielder Michael Carrick down to a new one-year contract at Old Trafford.
Now, talkSPORT is reporting that United have joined Inter Milan in the race to sign Garay from Zenit in the summer transfer window.
The same report goes on to say that both European clubs have been keeping tabs on Garay since January and believe he could be available for around £15m this summer.
