Mourinho in talks to make Man United’s second signing for record fee – report
Manchester United are in talks to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in the summer transfer window, say reports
Manchester United are in talks about the possibility of signing Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer but have been told that they will need to smash the world transfer record to land their man, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge of the Old Trafford outfit.
United, however, have only signed 22-year-old defender Eric Bailly thus far despite being on the lookout for a number of top attackers this summer.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
However, the Daily Telegraph is now reporting that United have been told that any deal to re-sign the France midfielder would have to surpass the £85.3m paid for Gareth Bale by Real Madrid in 2013.
The same report says that United are in talks with Juventus and Pogba’s representative, Mino Raiola, about bringing the player back to Old Trafford this summer.
