Mesut Ozil just can't stop assisting...

He was one of the Premier League’s standout performers last season after notching up 19 assists for his Arsenal team-mates.

And it appears that Mesut Ozil simply cannot stop assisting away from the pitch as well, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

The Germany playmaker enjoyed some well-earned downtime on Sunday before he and his international team-mates travel to France for Euro 2016 this week.

Ozil opted to spend some time with his family as he relaxed away from the pitch.

And the 27-year-old was happy to ‘assist’ his young niece on Sunday before he turns his attentions back to Germany duty.

Ozil posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Quality time with my niece and love Mira. She asked me to assist her in driving the car #DayOff #UncleMesut #LaFamilia #ViveLaFamily”

Ozil’s fine form in the Premier League last season was unable to propel Arsenal to the title, as Arsene Wenger’s men ended up 10 points behind champions Leicester City in the top flight table.
