Mesut Ozil looked completely relaxed as he enjoyed a day off with his Germany team-mates at Euro 2016 over the weekend.

The Arsenal playmaker has featured for the full 90 minutes in both of his country’s games in France as they beat Ukraine 2-0 and drew 0-0 with Poland to edge towards the knockout phase of the tournament.

Ozil and his Germany team-mates were given most of Saturday off to recover ahead of their final group game of Euro 2016.

And the Arsenal star appeared to be in good spirits as he took a selfie at the team hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Ozil shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Enjoying the afternoon at the team hotel. #DFBTeam #sunglasses #ThanksTo @jeromeboateng #DefendYourStyle”

Ozil has been a regular fixture in the Arsenal first team since arriving at Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
