Jose Mourinho enjoyed some downtime with his dog on Sunday as he put his Manchester United business to one side

Jose Mourinho enjoyed some downtime on Sunday while on holiday as he put his Manchester United business to one side to play with his dog.

The Portuguese coach has been working hard since being appointed as the Red Devils’ new manager last month and has already moved quickly to secure the signing of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

Mourinho is thought to be on the lookout for a number of new players as he prepares his squad for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.

However, the former Chelsea boss clearly enjoyed his time away from business on Sunday, as he posted the picture above of his dog on his new Instagram account and wrote: “Hard training always need a good rest.”

Mourinho signed a three-year deal to become Manchester United’s new manager last month after relentless speculation linking him with the role.
